In the past, he was responsible for prisoner exchange as a negotiator for the South African Army. John has also trained extensively using Harvard-standard negotiation models.
He also has six books under his belt, which discuss negotiation and more specifically how small businesses can make valuable deals with bigger companies.
One of the most complicated tasks he has ever faced was selling a money transfer software to the Pakistan State Post. The organisation now uses this software in 13,000 branches.
This incredible achievements have enabled John to win multiple prestigious awards, including the Million Dollar Round Table twice. This is awarded to those who generate £1 million of commission in one calendar year.
Keen to stay firmly ahead of the game in his industry, he frequently attends and speaks at world-leading conferences to keep up to date with cutting-edge strategies and concepts.
John has been a member of the C4DI since it first opened, truly believing it is the best place to be for digital innovation.
He regularly leads talks on negotiation and is now looking to put together a programme to help start-ups to negotiate successfully with larger businesses. This will allow the C4DI to be the only innovation hub in the UK with an international commercial education on how to do deals.
