Sauce launched here at C4DI roughly 7 months ago and have been developing web and app projects for clients across many sectors ever since. Amongst several projects in varying stages of development one mobile app, in particular, has been a huge success and landed them the award for Best Mobile App at the 2016 Digital Awards held earlier this month.

Software developers Arc Studios won the award for Best Digital Startup this year after being nominated for the award two years in a row. Creating bespoke software for local and international businesses, Arc Studios have evolved from 4 students in a bedroom to an 8-man team providing opportunities for interns and year in industry students to develop their talents and skills.

Zero Day Security is the brainchild of Lukasz Jendraszek. Covering everything from penetration testing to emergency system recovery, the fully flexible service provides protection against hackers, leaks and unauthorised access. We caught up with him in our co-working space to find out more about the future of web security.

Marketing specialist John Cant works independently to help start-up businesses with their initial establishment and early growth. We caught up with him in our hot-desk area to learn more about how he does it all, and which project he is focusing on at the moment.
 
“I’m currently working with a software start-up called Hubscope,” explains John. “It’s a visualisation application used by IT project teams that shows how people, requirements, services and technology interconnect.”

“I’m the kind of person who has a lot of ideas,” Neil Curtis confesses as we sit down in the C4DI hot-desk area. His company, CTOP Limited, reflects his creativity, acting as an umbrella for a vast variety of online projects. Running several affiliate websites, an e-commerce parenting business and even designing his own online course, Neil’s ideas have taken him very far. “You just need to give it a go and see how it pans out; I tend to find that most things work out if you’re serious about them”…
