We are nestled in the heart of the popular Fruit Market area, Hull’s Home of Independent’s. The nearby Humber Street is bursting with some of the cities most popular eateries, cafes and bars for a spot of lunch or post-work drink, a boutique gym and unique shops. Parking is available at the Multi-Storey car park on Blackfriargate or on High Street, both only a short walk from C4DI.

We’re more than just a workspace, we’re your biggest supporters. From regular check-ins to tailored opportunities, we treat our members like family. We listen, connect, and encourage you to step outside your comfort zone – whether that’s hosting an event, attending a workshop, or developing the soft skills that set you apart. If there’s funding, advice, or an opportunity out there, we’ll make sure you know about it.

With newly refurbished facilities built for collaboration, we create spaces where members naturally share strengths, whether that’s working on groundbreaking ideas or just having a drink together after hours.

We give our members the tools to help them grow successful businesses – and eventually outgrow us. That’s the goal. When that happens, we bring in the next wave of entrepreneurs, giving them the same support and guidance. But don’t worry if you’re not ready to leave, not everyone does, and we love that too! Our commitment doesn’t stop at our doors, we actively work in education, helping young people and students in Hull see entrepreneurship as a real path forward.

From corporate accelerator programmes to networking events, we create opportunities that drive real impact. We shape accelerator challenges based on real business needs and invite our members (and sometimes talent from further afield) to bring solutions to the table. We also run team days and corporate workshops to strengthen internal collaboration and drive innovation forward.
Impacting Hull & Beyond
We’re not just about supporting individual businesses – we’re here to grow the whole region. We work with councils to explore funding, partner with corporate clients to bring proof-of-concept projects to life, and help businesses innovate for efficiency. Through discovery sessions and in-depth tours, we provide tailored reports on how our corporate members can push their businesses forward.

We bring a wealth of experience and creativity to everything we do
Tina Swann
Community Engagement Manager
Tina is our Community Engagement & Events Manager – and the heart and soul C4DI. Her career path has zigzagged through hospitality, travel, a wild stint looking after famous sports personalities, and reception work, before she found her home here.
She goes out of her way to make sure everyone feels happy, comfortable, and well looked after – nothing is ever too much trouble. Tina is kind and generous and brings warmth, humour, and a genuine love of people into everything she does.
Whether she’s running events, helping members settle in, or adding thoughtful touches behind the scenes, Tina makes C4DI feel like home.
Outside of work, she loves hanging out with her dog, enjoying a good beer, and telling the tale of when her mum entered her into a fancy dress competition… as a streaker. (Yes, really.)
Linsey Brown
Director of C4DI
Linsey leads the day-to-day running of the business, supporting the team, our members, and the wider community to thrive. She’s passionate about creating a space where people feel welcome, encouraged, and able to do their best work – whether they’re just starting out or scaling something big.
She’s driven by a deep love for C4DI, Hull, and its people. Linsey is especially passionate about developing opportunities for young people, building confidence in the next generation, and keeping top talent right here in the region.
She believes the power of C4DI lies in its people and a good coffee and loves the buzz of being surrounded by big ideas, straight-talking founders, and a community that genuinely wants to help each other succeed. Just don’t ask her to change the air-con settings.
Kaitlin Lander
Marketing & Communications Coordinator
Kaitlin looks after all things marketing and communications at C4DI – from social media and newsletters to promoting the exciting things happening across our community. She brings creativity, energy, and a real passion for connecting people to the opportunities and stories that matter.
Alongside her role, Kaitlin is also undertaking a degree apprenticeship in digital marketing – something she’s hugely passionate about, and a great example of how learning on the job can build both confidence and skill.
When she’s not creating content or planning campaigns, you’ll likely find her chatting away at reception, welcoming new faces, or sneaking the occasional sweet treat from Nibble. She’s all in when it comes to championing our members, celebrating their successes, and making C4DI feel like a vibrant, inspiring place to be.
