On Tuesday 8 October, the second Women 4.0 event took place at Rollits LLP as two guest speakers shared their career stories and experiences to a room full of over fifty people.
Cutting-edge businesses and key speakers from across the country saw over 2,000 guests attend the Bonus Arena last week for the first annual Tech Expo Humber.
This week, it was fantastic to see Hull’s tech and digital community come together at the first ever Tech Expo Humber, followed by an evening of celebration at the fifth Hull and Humber Tech Awards.
Four women are to represent C4DI at this October’s Humber Tech Expo and discuss their experiences working in the technology and digital sector.
Following on from the first successful event on International Women’s Day back in March, Women 4.0 returns to highlight successful women in industry and inspire a new generation.
“Women 4.0 aims to create a platform that highlights successful women in the industry and inspire all people, leading a positive path for the next generation,” explains Claire Clark, Director of Development at C4DI-based App and IoT Development Agency Sauce and co-founder of Women 4.0.

Art, Music and Culture will guide runners on their way through the 26.2 miles on 22 September, whether partaking in the Fun Run, Relays or full Marathon. Preceded by Race Registration and Expo on Saturday 21 it promises to be a fantastic weekend.
Product design, 3D printing and rapid manufacturing company NFire Labs has launched its first 3D-printed gift range. Customised for you at the click of a button, the gifts – which include brightly-coloured keyrings, home accessories, can holders and fridge magnets – are printed on demand in NFire’s offices at C4DI.
