Last year GB Recruitment committed to the 4-day week experiment. One month in they are reporting a record-breaking month and an increase in productivity of more than 50%.

Inspired by the results of Microsoft’s Work-Life Choice Challenge in Japan, GB Recruitment introduced the 4-day week as of the 6th January 2020. The extra days leave is rostered between a Monday, Thursday and Friday in order to allow the firm to deliver the same level of customer service. 

Ron Dearing University Technical College (UTC) has been named as one of the best schools in the country for the progress made by A-level students.

New league tables released by the Department for Education show Hull’s employer-led school is ranked 15thof all schools and colleges in England, including fee-paying independent schools, for the progress made by students who took their A-levels last summer.

Last week Tech Humber announced that they will be hosting a launch event on the 4th February. Within just 24 hours 50 people registered to attend. As a result of popular demand, the event moved to the Bonus arena, home to the Tech Expo Humber 2019. Now at 110 registered attendees the event is sold out.
