The pandemic has thrown a lot our way and it’s been a huge change for everyone, including our members and how/where they work. As restrictions are eased, we want to share with you some ways in which we have been working to help you get back to normality.

John Hunter is a Specialist Relationship Manager for Barclays High Growth and Entrepreneurs. C4DI members can now engage with John to discuss a number of different topics, from scaling up and growth to financial support and investment.

C4DI has secured access to some funds to help local digital and tech businesses start up, develop and grow. The funds can help member businesses across a range of activities.

As the internal fit out comes to an end, take a sneak preview at the inside of the new incubator… there’s some great footage of it!

C4DI Northallerton will be launching during the Hambleton Business Week. You can sign up for the event over at C4DI’s new live platform and learn more about how you can get involved and benefit from C4DI Northallerton. We’ve already had members from Hull asking if they can work from there… yes you can!

Louise Cooke, C4DI’s Community Manager has been selected as a judge at one of the largest annual tech conferences in Central and Eastern Europe. Wolves Summit 2021 returns on 24-26 March as a hybrid event, made up of over 50 virtual talks and networking events, including a pitching event that puts startups in front of globally-known investors and tech organisations.

The Fruit Market’s new multi-storey car park has opened, marking the latest milestone in the development of Hull’s urban village.

The £5m facility is another key part of the extraordinary transformation of the waterfront area and provides a major new asset for Hull city centre.

In June 2020, we announced the launch of our partnership with Workfinder, an award-winning platform that links young people with high-growth businesses. The partnership allowed 50 of our members to sign up for free, courtesy of Barclays Eagle Labs. We caught up with some of the members who have been using Workfinder over the last year.

Expensemate – a FinTech startup forged from a collaboration between a C4DI member and one of Hull’s most established businesses – is now expanding its in-house development team. Launched last year as part of The Rix Group, the holistic suite of products and services provides intelligent insights into company spending with MastercardsⓇ that can be controlled by business owners, an app that intuitively captures receipts and an online portal that streamlines bookkeeping.
