Ideal commissioned the creative software development team to design a digital solution that gives customers full control of the heating in their home, from anywhere in the world.
Software company APD Communications has created a striking work of art reflecting the incredible work of its customers in the emergency services.
The pioneering Hull-based business chose the city’s Centre for Digital Innovation (C4DI) tech hub as the launch venue for its colourful illustration of the company’s work supporting emergency services organisations…
C4DI Corporate Members Arco organised a day of fundraising activities at their Digital Department offices, which raised almost £500 for local organisation Child Dynamix.
“We put on a day of Nintendo Wii tournaments and a bake-off,” Jon Baker, Systems Analyst at the safety wear and equipment company, tells us.
“It was a fantastic day and with sponsorship from Nibble and other Hull-based companies, we were able to offer some brilliant prizes to the winners, raising the stakes when it came to people digging in their pockets for donation money.”
On the day, the team raised an incredible £243.50, which Arco then match-funded to double the figure and provide even more support to Child Dynamix.
Entries for the Hull Digital Awards close on Sunday 5 August, with the ceremony taking place on Thursday 20 September.
