Following on from the first successful event on International Women’s Day back in March, Women 4.0 returns to highlight successful women in industry and inspire a new generation.
“Women 4.0 aims to create a platform that highlights successful women in the industry and inspire all people, leading a positive path for the next generation,” explains Claire Clark, Director of Development at C4DI-based App and IoT Development Agency Sauce and co-founder of Women 4.0.
Now in its 12th year, the Hull Comedy Festival returns with sponsorship from Princes Quay, it promises to be bigger and better than ever. Laughter will take over the city, with performances from household names to hometown heroes, family shows to silent comedy, quirky quizzes to Edinburgh Fringe Festival’s favourites, there’s something for everyone.
Product design, 3D printing and rapid manufacturing company NFire Labs has launched its first 3D-printed gift range. Customised for you at the click of a button, the gifts – which include brightly-coloured keyrings, home accessories, can holders and fridge magnets – are printed on demand in NFire’s offices at C4DI.
David Watson, currently Executive Director of External Affairs at National Museums Liverpool, and previously head of digital media for London 2012 Ceremonies and Hull UK City of Culture 2017, delivered an insightful talk on his experiences overseeing digital content and platforms at various organisations.
