Sauce | Community Bio

Sauce is a software development company, specialising in customer-facing mobile apps.

Established in 2016, the talented team has gone from strength-to-strength, securing contracts with international and locally-renowned organisations. These include Siemens, KCOM, Ideal, University of Hull, Hull University Union and City Health Care Partnership, just to name a few.

In this time, they have also won multiple Hull Digital Awards, as well as being crowned Best Start Up at the Hull Daily Mail Business Awards 2017.

A key example of their work is the Siemen’s MyTime app. This is the third project Sauce has worked on with the technology and engineering giant. The intelligent software streamlines the company’s HR system. Meanwhile, they worked closely with Hull University Union in 2016 to develop a mobile app to welcome new and current students back to campus.

In the future, Sauce wants to continue to grow and take on exciting new projects. Being members of the C4DI has enabled the team to blossom and take on several new members of staff, as well as make valuable connections within and outside of the tech community.

Matt Gibson, one of the co-founders, affirms that it was the positive and supportive environment of the building that has allowed Sauce to become what it is today.
