THE CHALLENGE | DON’T FORGET THE CAN OPENER!

Create an easy-to-use way for people to develop their own, custom checklists – both items and plans – for specific kinds of disasters. Use NASA images, videos, or data visualizations to illustrate each disaster type, to help people understand how to prepare.

Working on a project called Doomsday, they are attempting to pool local data to create an app which prepares people for local disasters. They are representing Cloud 2 at this year’s Space Apps challenge.

Devcon 3 have made some progress with their app which they are now testing against some make believe disasters including a flood and a Zombie outbreak! They have made their app using Microsoft PowerApps.
