Steve Bowman | Developer

Steve Bowman is a software developer and consultant who specialises in mobile, web, desktop and cloud applications.

With 15 years of commercial software development experience, he has worked with a number of multinational companies, across a range of different industries, including Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Life Sciences and Fast Moving Consumer Goods.

Recently, he has collaborated with fellow C4DI member James Horspool to create an innovative media player application. With the aim to bridge the gap between live radio and podcasts, the customisable audio stream allows users to select the content they want to hear and listen to it back alongside live radio presenters. A demo app has been created and the concept has already received a lot of positive attention.

On top of all this, Steve is actively involved in local and regional events. Keen to share his passion with others, Steve regularly organises Hull Comic Con and has led talks on Agile Methodology at the C4DI.

Being a member of the C4DI has not only enabled Steve to collaborate with like-minded businesses but also widened his knowledge and experience.
