Founded in 1991, Headland have amassed over 25 years of experience and have worked with huge names such as Alton Towers, ITV and Santander. Providing a range of services from e-commerce and cyber security to design and print, they recently made the move to C4DI to “make the most of this unique environment by making Hull and C4DI our hub for inspiration, invention and the development of new commercial products.”

Headland have helped many businesses improve their digital presence, such as making a large scale data feed for West Yorkshire bus and rail network Metro available online for users of web and mobile. This resulted in saving a huge cost from the printing of timetables, whilst also allowing people on the move to quickly and easily access the information they need.

“[At C4DI] You’ve got over 100 digital and tech specialists working in a stunning building that has an extremely strong cutting edge research and development feel about it.” – Ken Heptonstall, Headland MD

When asked why they chose to move to Hull, Ken explains, “The buzz created by the City of Culture badge is enormous, and the local digital tech talent pool is now not only the envy of every other northern city, but is being properly harnessed by the likes of C4DI.”

Hull’s digital & tech community continues to grow, with all types of businesses from many sectors joining C4DI, from larger experienced companies to smaller tech startups. Come along to an open day to experience a day in the region’s largest tech hub!
