Strawberry wins Best Recruitment Campaign at DADI Awards

Creative marketing agency Strawberry overcame the likes of The Financial Times, Shell, English Heritage, and IBM to win an award at The Drum Awards for Digital Industries (DADI Awards) last week. After receiving the award for Best Recruitment Website, App or Campaign at a ceremony at Park Plaza in London, James Greenwood, Strawberry’s Digital Director said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to rub shoulders with such respected names in this way, which is effectively recognition for the best marketing, PR and digital work in the UK and beyond.”

Winning them the award was their ‘Remarkable People’ campaign for the Hull and East Yorkshire (HEY) Trust, who were faced with an urgent need to employ more staff and retain its existing workforce, so HEY enlisted the support of C4DI members and creative agency, Strawberry to create a campaign that would improve recruitment, retention and brand perception of the Trust. David Withers, Head of Education at HEY said: “The team got an instant grasp of the situation and returned with a strategy that went above and beyond anything we could have hoped for. They have devised an approach that has been met with wholesale approval within the Trust and has been designed to reach each and every audience we outlined. This is without doubt the most intelligent, inventive and creative campaign I have seen anywhere within the NHS and it has worked a treat!”
