Role: HP – Digital Support Officer

Salary: £25,566 - £27,339
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract Type: Temporary for 1 Year
We are currently recruiting for a Digital Support Officer
This is a unique opportunity to work within the heart of Local Policing, assisting police officers and members of the public on a daily basis.
To proactively support Humberside Police in the ongoing design, development and delivery of their Digital Programme in support of the Force Digital Strategy.
Provide excellent customer service act quickly on feedback.
Provide project support to ensure innovative solutions influence the future technological position of the force.
In conjunction with management ensure digital projects are fully aligned to the aims of the Digital Strategy. Ensure the successful delivery of digital projects, which are critical to the effective operation and management of the Force and the supporting IT infrastructure.
Support the implementation of regional and national IT projects (Digital innovation programme) within force e.g. intelligence.
Maintaining and supporting the department’s quality policy by working to the documented procedures and adhere to the data protection principles.
Responsible for using the NDM and THRIVE model in all actions undertaken
Skills and experience:
Supporting digital projects to agreed timescales and cost
Experience working in digital environment providing professional advice on the most appropriate technical solutions for proposed projects making recommendations for change.
Experience of providing excellent customer service.

Applicants must meet the minimum requirement checkable history criteria, which must be taken into account for individuals applying to work with South Yorkshire Police & Humberside Police in any capacity.
