Role: HP – Digital Innovation co-ordinator

Salary: £28,353 - £30,195
Hours: 37 hours per week

We are currently recruiting for a Digital Innovation co-ordinator
This is a unique opportunity to work within the heart of Local Policing, assisting police officers and members of the public on a daily basis.
As part of the Digital Innovation Team, to support the development, co-ordination and day-to-day oversight of a programme of projects, initiatives and activities to directly support the delivery of the Force Digital Strategy and relevant national programmes.
Supporting the identification and development of innovative effective digital solutions to influence improvements to the Forces future technological service delivery.
Supporting management ensuring the successful delivery of digital projects, which are critical to the effective operation and management of the Force and the supporting IT infrastructure.
Supporting the implementation of regional and national IT projects (Digital innovation programme) within force e.g. intelligence.
Maintaining and supporting the department’s quality policy by working to the documented procedures and adhere to the data protection principles.
Ensuring that risks to the Force/Command which may affect its ability to provide business as usual now or in the future are identified and escalated to their line manager or local Risk Champion at the earliest opportunity;
Responsible for using the NDM and THRIVE model in all actions undertaken.
Skills and experience:
Experience working in digital environment providing professional advice on the most appropriate technical solutions for proposed projects making recommendations for change
Computer literacy with an ability to use Microsoft Office including Microsoft Project
Well-developed oral and written communication skills with an ability to influence and negotiate.
Good report writing skills.
Good, numeracy and project planning skills.
Excellent presentation skills, speaks clearly in a manner appropriate to the audience.
