Rockar: Customer Support

Hello, we are Rockar, we are a multi-award-winning digital retailer changing the way that people buy new cars. To support our continued growth, and the expansion of our retail customer base we are looking to recruit a talented, organised and conscientious Customer Service Advisor to help guide our customers on their buying journey.

In this critical support role, you are the link between our customer and the business, completing/administrating the sale and delivery of their new car. This role would suit an experienced Telesales / Customer Service advisor who can demonstrate the ability to build rapport with others quickly, show great attention to detail and a real passion for meeting customers’ needs and expectations. If you’ve had previous sales  or service experience, in a telephony-based environment this could be the role for you.

What you’ll be doing…

·       Responding to inbound customer calls & messages relating to vehicles and potential orders

·       Establishing rapport and trust with the customer to support potential buying decisions

·       Updating the CRM with customer contact information for future marketing activities

·       Advising customers regarding vehicle options, specifications, finance options, vehicle trade ins and vehicle prices

·       Helping customers to create online accounts and walking them through the website as needed

·       Liaising with the Store teams regarding any queries and questions

·       Processing finance applications and dealing with any queries raised by customers or finance providers

·       Checking vehicle stock for vehicle availability

·       Responding to vehicle orders placed online via the Rockar platform or in store

·       Proactively keeping customers informed, and also responding to any inbound calls or emails with regard to their purchase 

·       Ensuring we have all the customer documentation and information prior to arranging and confirming delivery/handover


About you….

You'll consider yourself to be a confident and outgoing experienced sales or customer service advisor with a background in dealing with customers directly and processing information in a timely and accurate manner.

·       Min 2 years previous customer service 

·       Confident and outgoing

·       Highly organised and structured

·       Likes working to and meeting (sometimes challenging) deadlines

·       Customer focused

·       Familiar with working in a targeted environment

·       Logical with a high level of attention to detail

·       Be comfortable explaining complicated things in an everyday way

·       Great listener who is personable and willing to adapt to different styles

·       Pro-active and likes to get things done

·       Ability to work alone and as part of a team

·       Driven and highly motivated


Key Skills and requirements….

·       Proven background in sales or customer services 

·       Awareness of financial products and markets

·       Strong negotiating and influencing skills

·       Accurate data input

·       Strong Communication skills via email and telephone

·       Adhering to processes and systems

·       Valid UK Driving License
