Hello, we are Rockar, we are a multi-award winning digital retailer changing the way that people buy new cars. To support our continued growth, we are looking to recruit a talented, organised and conscientious Data Administrator to help ensure that our website has live & accurate data to allow customers to buy with confidence.

In this critical support role, you are part of the team that ensures that the Jaguar Land Rover platform has accurate product, images, stock and pricing data. This role would suit someone who can demonstrate strong analytical skills, show great attention to detail, likes to work in a methodical structure way and has a real passion for ensuring things are simply right. 

What you’ll be doing…

  • Using your advanced Excel & database query skills to extract, collate, aggregate and analyse data.

  • Mapping data via the Rockar API to the product database, including vehicle details & options, specifications, pricing, etc to ensure stock is accurate and up to date

  • Ensuring that data uploads are processed accurately and on a timely basis for product data, images, stock, finance and marketing campaigns 

  • Running queries to check the accuracy of data imports or sampling data to validate the accuracy of any import/mapping

  • Undertaking ad-hoc data interrogation and analysis as required in relation to stock and pricing to support marketing campaigns

  • Swiftly responding to tickets raised to correct website data errors

  • Creating and validating voucher codes & customer groups to support marketing campaigns

  • Creating and maintaining the demonstrator vehicles on the platform for customers to book test drives

  •  Looking at ways to improve data administration processes and validation checks to improve accuracy and speed of data loading

About you….

You'll consider yourself to be someone who cares about things being right, likes working with data and is organised to process information in a timely and accurate manner.  You like to solve problems and can manage working to tight deadlines.

  •  An Excel whizz kid who has worked with Access databases and other data manipulation tools

  • Logical with a high level of attention to detail

  •  Highly organised and structured

  • Likes working to and meeting (sometimes challenging) deadlines

  • Pro-active and likes to get things done

  • Strong experience of MS office suite packages

  • Adhering to processes and systems

  • Valid UK Driving License
