Internship Job Description

NFire Labs’ work revolves around 3D printing and product design. After a successful Kickstarter Campaign a few years ago, further developments were made to make 3D printing as accessible as possible to all. This lead to the design and manufacture of the NFire Pro 3D Printer which is designed from the ground up for school and business environments.
The candidate will be required to build and assemble 3D Printers (Like a giant Lego kit) and get them tuned ready for shipment to clients. They will also be tasked with maintaining and fixing faulty/troublesome 3D Printers up to a fully working state. Ad-Hoc tasks such as managing eBay/Amazon sales during busy times is also needed (Getting items ready for shipment). Impromptu help on product design projects and product development will be required as well as time set aside for personal printing projects.
Excellent problem solving skills and logical thinking.
Good organisation and a keen eye for detail.
An interest in 3D Printing and Technology.
Easily pick-up skills and methods on how to physically assemble parts and use new software.
Good physical dexterity and practical mind.
A-Level Maths, grade C or higher.
Competent English speaker
The candidate will be paid minimum wage for the duration of the Internship. Hours will be Monday-Friday 9am-5pm (Flexible around these hours) with a 1 hour lunch break. The candidate will also be allowed access to all C4DI facilities such as events and meet-ups of which they can chat to other like-minded people and further their own knowledge in a vast array of disciplines. - The preferred start time is mid August 2017. The internship is anticipated to last 12 weeks, with a week’s notice either way.
